ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Born October 19, 1998, Alicia Marchetti is a self-taught, California-based poet who has loved literature all her life. Her book, She Was Here and Her Eyes Were Brown, focuses on longing and fidelity, and is dedicated to the love of her life, Hazel Brown.

She is a Certified Peer Support Specialist and a volunteer with the Crisis Text Line. She maintains a close relationship with God and is deeply family oriented.

She loves spending time with her dog, playing pool and chess, hiking, chamomile flowers, cappuccinos, picking up litter, and renting Airbnbs in beautiful places. One day, she hopes to visit the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam.
